In early 2007 I purchased a business through Gary Johnston of Johnston Business Sales.
Eight and a half years later it was time to sell and Gary was called along with a relative’s referral at a nationwide franchise.
The difference was as chalk and cheese.
Not only was Gary confident of realising a vastly better price but the speed of his work was extraordinary following his formal engagement to market the business.
Three days after he began work there had been three or four interested parties sourced. Though these did not materialise into buyers the enquiries kept coming. Two offers were declined – the second well above what had been suggested as top dollar by the other broker.
Then one day when a sale looked imminent Gary sustained a fall and was laid up in hospital for a few days. He still kept in regular communication from his hospital bed and the sale was completed.
The whole process from Gary’s engagement to settlement took just under three months and throughout that time Gary’s response times were always very fast and his manner extremely professional.
I can commend Gary’s services to anyone seeking to buy or sell a business
